Class Details

Therapeutic Yoga

This group class will include breathing, stretching, strengthening and alignment awareness to improve joint health, relieve pain, reduce stress and anxiety, and improve overall well being.

Each class will conclude with relaxation and meditation. The flows for each class will depend on the needs of the attendees. Issues that can be addressed include back pain, shoulder pain, knee pain, hand and wrist pain, stress and anxiety.

Yoga Nidra

This class is like an hour-long vacation. Tune into Yoga Nidra and tune out your stress. Yoga nidra is a guided meditation that research has shown to reduce tension, stress, pain, anxiety, improve sleep and wellbeing. You don’t even need a yoga mat or have your camera on. Yoga can even do this practice lying down in bed. It is an easy way to de-stress and stay connected to Self. You just have to breathe, listen, and go within on a guided journey through the layers of your being. There you may discover a whole world. You may discover Self. What else are vacations for? What have you got to lose besides stress? Tune in. Bliss out.

Hatha Yoga

This class is considered gentle yoga. It is great for all skill levels. It consists of a series of postures and breathing techniques that are bit more static and posture holds than you would see in vinyasa yoga.

Mindfulness and Stress Reduction Meditation

Embark on a transformative journey to find peace within chaos with our Mindfulness and Stress Reduction Meditation class. In today’s fast-paced world, this class oers a sanctuary for those seeking to unwind, cultivate mindfulness, and build resilience in the face of life’s challenges.

This class is designed to introduce you to the art of mindfulness and meditation as powerful tools for stress reduction. Through a variety of meditation techniques, you’ll learn to bring your attention to the present moment, fostering a sense of calm and clarity in your daily life.

Mindfulness and Mindful Meditation

During the sessions participants will gain an understanding of the Foundations of Mindfulness and be able to integrate them into a consistent practice. Each session will contain a brief talk, a 20-30 min practice and Q&A. We will meet through Zoom for 45 minutes every Monday at 8:00am ET. Alexandra will begin each session with a guided or silent meditation, followed by a short talk, and an open time for sharing joys, diiculties, and questions about the participants meditation practice
